FOO'D by Davide Oldani, located in the iconic Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall brings Chef Davide's unique philosophy to Singapore.
Founded upon the principles of Cucina POP, which simultaneously means “for everyone” and “belonging to everyone”, the menu was conceptualised with Italian celebrity Chef Davide Oldani, chef-owner of the one Michelin-starred D’O in Cornaredo, just outside Milan.
Committed to delivering a fine dining, grande cuisine experience that caters to all tastes that can be savoured every day, FOO’D seeks to be the home where eating is always a pleasure—not an excess, luxury or waste — by always starting with quality seasonal ingredients as the bases of good cuisine.
Created by Chef Davide Oldani, Cucina POP (“pop cuisine”) simultaneously means “for everyone” and “belonging to everyone”.
With this philosophy in mind, FOO’D aims to deliver creative and boundary-pushing modern European dishes that fuse tradition with innovation, while being accessible and maintaining a keen focus on simple and hearty, yet elegantly refined food.
The restaurant, with its high ceilings and Corinthian columns, is located within the iconic Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall.
The decision to locate the restaurant within one of Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks in the heart of the city’s Civic District was a deliberate one. The neo-classical lines of Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall firmly reference its 150-year history even as the national monument continues to be a highly current venue that nurtures the future of Singapore’s arts scene. It is an apt and timelessly elegant home for FOO’D by Davide Oldani, which strives to blend fine dining with accessibility, and tradition with innovation, in its cuisine for everyone.
The main dining hall has a seating capacity for 150 persons, making it an ideal venue for private events within a fine dining setting. There is also an al-fresco area which can take up to 80 seated guests. To enquire about hosting private events at our restaurant, please write in to email@example.com
